MY STORY

Hi, my name is Helen & I am a mother of three gorgeous children & the owner of Boogaloo Bakes.

I am based in a lovely village just outside Maidstone & am very fortunate to have the North Downs on my doorstep, so you can often find me enjoying a brisk walk & soaking up the magnificent view.

A little bit about Boogaloo Bakes, lets start with the name, a bit unusual I know, but it has a very special meaning to me. For as long as I can remember, we have always called my eldest daughter Boogaloo or Boo for short. I have no idea how it started but I love it, so when it came to choosing a business name it seemed the obvious choice...Boogaloo Bakes!

I've been baking celebration cakes & yummy treats for family & friends for over 25 years now, but with my youngest starting secondary school, it has given me the opportunity to take it a bit further & open up my own little cake shop & I honestly couldn't be happier!

I am constantly working on new recipes & creating unique celebration cakes & am super excited to be introducing postal brownies & cookies to the menu.
